Adult & Child Therapist

Mental health has always carried stigma; many people learn early on, ‘we don't talk about it.' Different events in life can cause symptoms of depression, anxiety, and many other mental health conditions. Whether you are struggling with an adjustment period or need help processing years of trauma, the skills you learn will help you now and in the future. My passion is helping individuals and families reach their full potential.

I use a variety of modalities — ACT, CBT, play therapy and Theraplay techniques, EMDR, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches — focused on identifying the external and internal factors behind behaviors, emotions, conflict, and symptoms. Holding a safe and accepting environment is my priority.

You owe it to yourself to work through the hard emotions you may be experiencing. My job is to provide healthy tools, support, and gentle guidance. Please reach out when you are ready to begin this journey.

Brittney Foster

LGBTQIA+, DBT, Adult & Child Therapist

Schedule with Brittney

You know the “I should be doing better by now” feeling. The one that shows up when you’re comparing your life to everyone else’s, questioning your choices, or wondering why things feel harder for you than they seem for others. Maybe your mind won’t slow down, you’re stuck in overthinking, or you’re exhausted from trying to keep up with everything while still feeling like you’re falling behind.

I believe therapy is a space to step out of that constant pressure and finally exhale. It is a space where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or figure it out before you walk in. We slow things down and make space for what’s actually going on underneath the anxiety, the heaviness, or the disconnect.

Together, we begin to understand the patterns that keep you stuck—not with judgment, but with curiosity and care. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you, because your experience deserves more than a one-size-fits-all path.

If you’re feeling ready for something to shift—even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet—you’re welcome here.

Jessica Hoffman

PLMHP

LGBTQIA+, Child & Adult Therapist

Schedule with Jessica

Hello! I am Jessica Hoffman (she/they), a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner. A quote at the heart of my practice is, ‘The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.' My goal for each client is to build a therapeutic relationship that fosters growth, acceptance, and collaboration.

I am a queer counselor born and raised in Grand Island, NE. I earned my bachelor's in Psychology at Hastings College and my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNK. I draw from CBT, EMDR, solution-focused, and primarily person-centered therapy.

I have worked with kids, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and more. As a queer counselor, I especially love working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Vesper LaThary

LIMHP, LPC

LGBTQIA+, Trans & Gender-Diverse, Bariatric & Body Image, SPMI · Narrative Therapy

Schedule with Vesper

Hi, I'm Vesper LaThary (she/her; last name rhymes with hare). I'm a queer woman, born in Omaha and raised south of the Mason-Dixon Line, and I am proudly transgender. Since coming out, I've stayed as engaged as I can in the LGBTQIA+ community. As a bariatric patient myself, I've done a lot of my own work around weight, body image, and identity — and I bring that lived experience with me into the room. Outside of work I love coffee with friends and family, a good anime or video game at home, and telling stories at the TTRPG table when I can find the time.

I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my master's degree from UNO in May 2024, and since then I have practiced in community agencies and inpatient psychiatric settings — so I am well-versed in ‘severe mental health' diagnoses across the spectrum and comfortable meeting people from every background and experience. I hold particular passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community, especially trans and gender-diverse clients, and for supporting bariatric patients and anyone whose mental health is entangled with weight and body image. If it is meaningful to you, we can also explore spirituality as part of your therapeutic work. My preference is generally for adult clients (19+), and I'm open to conversations about working with younger clients when it seems like a strong fit — I have supported people from ages 5 or 6 through 60+.

‘The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.' Carl Jung's words are my compass as a therapist. I work heavily under the banner of narrative therapy: storytelling is one of the oldest human practices, and taking ownership of your own story so you can live your most authentic life is one of the most meaningful things any of us can do. Jung called this process individuation, and I see it as the quiet goal underneath most of the work we do together. To travel that path with you I draw on Internal Family Systems, ACT, CBT, DBT, and person-centered positive psychology.

Samantha Reed

PLMHP

SPMI, Chronic Illness & LGBTQIA+ / Queer Therapist

Schedule with Samantha

Hi! I'm Sam, a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. I have experience in inpatient and outpatient settings with clients facing a wide range of diagnoses and life struggles — Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and general life stressors. I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and am trained in supporting first responders as well as clients navigating gambling addictions.

I also work with clients living with chronic illness — the grief, identity shifts, and nervous system toll of a body that does not always cooperate deserve a therapeutic space of their own. Depending on your needs, I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing — always from a trauma-informed perspective.

I am also in the early planning stages of launching group therapy at Healing Pathways — a space for shared healing alongside individual work. If that sounds like something you would want to hear more about, let me know.

Whether you are struggling with your mental health or riding the natural ups and downs of life, we can collaborate to help you reach your goals. You will not have to go through this alone.
